Zanna Moon - My Story
Who is Zanna Moon, you may be wondering. Well, Zanna Moon is a unique individual Soul, just as you are!
Where as my life experiences may or may not be similar to yours, we are both unique Souls in a unique Human vessel,
with our very own a unique journey. My journey has lead me to here, as I have a passion within my heart and soul to
inspire others to be uniquely them and it is okay for us not to fit into other peoples crafted labels for us.
Is Zanna Moon, my real name? Yes it is, but I did change it due to my life experiences and I choose Moon for my last name because
of my deep connection with the Moon. Throughout my life, it has always been there for me when no human was. It has listened
to my deepest pain, comforted me through all my tears, given me light to inspire my dreams and to see my blessings within all the darkness.
I also have a deep rooted thirst, if you will, for ancient ancestral knowledge, that perhaps comes from my life experiences, and I decided
that I really wanted to do something to celebrate and honor them. I can only imagine all the hardships and persecution that some of them or
even most of them, must have gone through in their time, for their beliefs and for refusing to go with the crowd so to speak.
For some only had a choice to either conform or die and I feel that perhaps some of their memories may be in our DNA.
Like my ancestors, I too have had to make some similar life choices along my journey. I wasn't born into the ideal loving and nourishing family and have struggled since the day I was born into this existence. My entire childhood experience was one of physical, sexual and emotional abuse to the point that
as a teenager, I promised myself and the moon, if I could not escape, I would end my suffering one way or another. Fortunately, for me I did find a way to
escape and I spent a lot of years finding the true me, my voice and overcoming different phases of my tragic childhood, from being a victim,
to being a survivor, to finally deciding I truly wanted to LIVE and Thrive!
In order to Live and Thrive, in my experience, you truly must have the will to do so! You can't sit around and blame others and make excuses.
At some point you have to take responsibility for your own choices and you must put yourself out there, put forth the effort for YOU!
Find your passion and don't let it go! No, it is not an easy road, but you will find it to be rewarding and be proud of yourself.
Along my journey, I was able to put myself through college full time, while working a full time job, while taking care of my 2 children on my own,
I had no family or friends to help me. I did not receive government assistance of any kind, very little in child support if any at all, but I was able to
qualify for some grants and state lotto scholarships for my college tuition, but not near enough to pay for it. With my college education,
it enabled me to earn enough to raise my children and provide them with what they needed, some of what they wanted and more importantly,
some opportunities they otherwise may not of had. Was my college education my dream career, no it wasn't, but it was what I needed at the time
in order to raise my children, as I Love them more than anything else in this world. They are here because of my choices, so they are my
responsibility and I would do anything I must for them and they also know that they are loved and I am here for them.
With my children now grown and making their own life choices, I can focus on my other passion, which is inspiring others to follow theirs
and to inspire others that have gone through similar tragedy in their journey to know that they can and they will get through it....
There is LIFE after abuse and tragedy! You just have to stay strong and determined to WIN and Thrive! You got this!!!

The one element that tends to be left out is water, but just a simple clear vase with cut flowers will cover it or a small water fountain accent. As a Interior Design and Art Education major, I came to realize all the rules of design and the rules of teaching art made everything just boring and truly restricting on one's own unique creativity and individualism....imagination and creativity should be fun and uniquely you! So in the end I went with a BBA in Accounting with a minor in the Arts with all the classes I took and because of the earning potential in accounting vs the arts as I needed to provide for my children.
And I would love to be able to imagine all the possibilities of what speaks to everyone, even though that would make me an epic out of this world seer.....who knows maybe in the future...but for now, I offer custom engraving and personal creations services, so you can create your own unique space, decor and personalized gifts that is just right for you and that special someone!
